Chopped Carbon Fibre is cut from a carbon fibre tow, the cured matrix of chopped strand and resin has superior strength and stiffness. Great for reinforcement and gap filling where high strength is needed. It is often used to create a forged carbon fibre look and can be used with compression moulds. It is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins.

Packing

Carbon Fiber Chopped Strands are packaged in kraft bags or woven bags, about 25kgs per bag, 5 bags per layer, 8 layers per pallet and 40 bags per pallet, pallet are packed by multilayer shrink film, also can package as customer's requirement.

Product Storage and Transportation

Unless otherwise specified, the Carbon Fiber Chopped Strand products should be stored in a dry, cool and moisture proof area. Best used within 12 months after production date. Carbon Fiber Chopped Strand should remain in their original packaging until just prior to use. The Carbon Fiber Chopped Strand products are suitable for delivery by the way of ship, train, or truck.
